Hale-based property crowdfunding platform The House Crowd is launching the second fundraising phase of its No 10 Alderley Edge development today, August 15.
The first phase was launched in April this year and was fully subscribed in just two weeks, raising £530,000 to fund the purchase of land and initial stages of development.
The second phase target is £600,000, with investors having the opportunity to invest anything from £1,000 upwards.
Touted as the first crowdfunded new-build development in Cheshire, work began on clearing the existing site on Congleton Road in May.
The grand Victorian-style development will comprise two duplex and two single-storey luxury apartments, which will be scheduled for completion in July 2017.
Developers say there has already been strong interest from potential purchasers who will have the opportunity to buy off plan from January.
Frazer Fearnhead, CEO of The House Crowd, said:
"We are very excited about this fantastic development. Prior to us purchasing the site there was just a derelict bungalow on the land which was detracting from the lovely neighbouring properties. We would love to see local people taking the opportunity to invest and benefit from a project that will enhance the local area."
