Wagatha Christie goes to court

Coleen, wife of former England striker Wayne Roone, stated that she'd been deliberately posting fake news stories on her private Instagram account as a stalking horse to find out who'd been leaking personal information to the press.

Following a five month review she stated that the guilty party was the wife of Leicester City and England striker Jamie Vardy. 

Mrs Rebekah Vardy has repeatedly disputed that she is the source of the leaks and has resorted to the courts to protest her innocence.  

Rebekah, 38, and Coleen, 34, will met in court unless a settlement can be reached courtesy of Mrs Vardy fiing legal papers on the 12th June 2020. 

Coleen was reportedly named in the press as "Wagatha Christie" after her efforts to find the culprit were made public. She posted fake stories about her proposed TV career and details of a household flood. 

Mrs Rooney subsequently told her 1.2 million ­followers that she'd invented the stories in a bid to work out who was ­sharing stories. By reply Mrs Vardy was reportedly "so upset" that she had been accused of publicising matters.
