A Nottingham hotel has been struck by an armed robber for the second time in less than a week.
The adjoining Millers Barn Beefeater in Millennium Way West, Cinderhill, was also targeted in the latest robbery.
At 1.10am on Tuesday (June 19) a man entered the restaurant, armed with a hammer.
He demanded money and threatened staff before making his way to the reception of the Premier Inn hotel threatening staff again, before fleeing empty handed.
A spokesman for the Force said: "The suspect is black, aged in his 30s and is of medium build. He was wearing black clothing.
"Detectives are linking this incident with another robbery at the same Premier Inn hotel which happened at about 2am on June 14.
"A man armed with a hammer jumped over the counter and stole a small amount of cash from the till before leaving. No-one was injured.
