Husband Spared Jail After Posting Revenge Porn of his Wife

A jilted husband has been spared jail after posting "revenge porn" images of his wife online after he discovered she was having an affair.

David Honeybell, 49, posted intimate images of his wife on the social networking site, Facebook, after he found out she was sending explicit messages and videos to someone else. He also set fire to a suitcase full of his wife's clothing.

Honeybell, representing himself at Nottingham Magistrates' Court, said:

"I am sorry. I was upset that after 23 years of marriage my wife was having an affair.

"She tried to clear the air then all of a sudden I found out she was sending explicit messages and videos to someone else. I was not happy."

Honeybell, who avoided a jail sentence after pleading guilty to lesser offences, admitted to harrassing his wife by sending her 18 text messages and 6 voice messages and to arson.
