Two white vans almost collided on the M5 motorway as a van driver passed the passenger from another vehicle a drink whilst travelling at 60mph.
Campaigners for road safety were disgusted with the stunt as it could have potentially led to a dangerous crash.
The van drivers who haven't been identified were filmed by another driver also travelling on the motorway.
The driver who had filmed the van drivers said, "I thought it was a crazy and, frankly, a stupid thing to do. I was on my way home. I do a lot of driving as part of my job and I see a lot of stupid things on an almost daily basis."
He also added, "You almost become immune to the stupidity, but this was particularly dangerous and it could have ended really badly."
Police officers are investigating the incidence by examining the video footage and contacting the owners of the vehicles.
Philip Goose, senior community engagement officer at the road safety charity Brake, said, "The video clearly shows that these two drivers were putting other road users and themselves in danger of being killed or seriously injured."
