Derbyshire Pensioner Sentenced for Extreme Pornography
A Derbyshire pensioner who previously led a crime-free life has been sentenced after downloading extreme pornography and indecent images of children.
John Price, 69, of Nottingham Road, Ilkeston, has been handed a three-year community order and ordered to attend a community sex offender group work programme after downloading indecent images of children and extreme pornography involving animals. Mr Price was found with 32 movies and eight pictures of children and 204 images of extreme pornographic material.
Speaking at Derby Crown Court Robert Sandford, prosecuting, said:
"The items were examined and in the course of examination the images were discovered.
"There were two images and 24 movies of category A (the most extreme), two images and five movies of category B and four images and three movies of category C.
"There were also 204 images of extreme pornography."
