The Derby businessman who founded the "Rage Cage" in Nottingham, has caused horrific injuries to his disabled stepfather.
Zaac Spencer attacked Neil Walker in broad daylight outside a school in Derby, in an attack which left the victim hospitalised for three days.
Now the 26-year-old has escaped an immediate prison term, having been handed a suspended sentence at Derby Crown Court after being found guilty of wounding and grievous bodily harm.
Spencer is the man behind the "Rage Cage" in Nottingham. In it, people don a hard hat, gloves, and other protective clothing, and pay to use a baseball bat, hammer, or crowbar to smash up everyday items such as old printers and telephones. Spencer described it as "the ultimate place to release your anger."
Mr Walker was treated in hospital for broken ribs, bleeding to the head, and cuts to his face. He said:
"Because of my haemophilia they could not properly stem the bleeding so I had to spend three days in hospital taking my injections, which I use to control my condition.
"Zaac is my stepson, but he is capable of doing this to me and I just want people to be wary that this is what he can be like."
