A reckless driver has been filmed on dashcam driving at more than three times the speed limit on a residential street near a school.
The incident happened in Leigh, Greater Manchester, when a black Vauxhall was seen tearing down the middle of a suburban road at an estimated 90-100mph.
When the driver spotted traffic in the road ahead, the motorist pulled onto a patch of grass popular with dog walkers and children before pulling back onto the tarmac.
Gary Unwin, from Leigh, filmed the 40-second clip on November 5 using a £9 dashcam that had arrived in the post that very morning.
Mr Unwin said:
"I wasn't so much concerned that he'd hit me as he flew past, I was more worried about people turning on to the road from side streets.
"They wouldn't be expecting someone to come flying down. I was also bothered about pedestrians crossing the road.
"It's miraculous that no-one was hurt the way he was driving."
The incident has been reported to Greater Manchester Police but no arrests have been made.
