Law Firms Ignoring The Referral Ban

Despite the ban on referral fees in April, David Fisher from the UK motor Insurance company AXA told a parliamentary group that he was concerned that law firms were who were dependent on referrals were continuing to accept fees.

The Solicitors Regulation Authority, the SRA, have issued a statement to the effect that firms who still refuse to comply with recent legislation could face heavy fines.
