British Airways and easyJet have confirmed that all flights to Sharm el Sheikh will remain cancelled until January after the bombing of a Russian passenger plane.
Following news that a bomb brought down the Russian Airbus A321 passenger plane in the Sinai Peninsula killing 224 people, British Airways has announced it is cancelling all flights to and from Sharm until 14th February, with easyJet announcing cancellations until 6th January.
British Airways said:
"We are keeping flights which are scheduled to operate from Saturday January 16, 2016 under review. The safety and security of our customers will continue to be our top priorities in any decisions we may make."
easyJet said:
"We are sorry for the inconvenience this will obviously cause, but we hope that being clear with all our customers at this point helps you to manage your plans with more certainty."
Between 4th and 17th November, easyJet flew back 4,500 passengers from Sharm el Sheikh after the initial security alert.
