Cavity Wall Insulation Problems

Over the last two decades millions of homes in the UK have had cavity wall insulation installed since the concept was first subsidised in the 1990's.

 

The logic is that cavity wall insulation can make homes more energy efficient by shielding the house and keeping the heat inside. However, if the cavity walls are not installed correctly, or have been installed in unsuitable properties, a number of problems may arise.
