The 'Unsellable' Fleur De Lys Mansion in Bel Air has finally found a secret millionaire buyer, snapping the exclusive estate up for a cool 102 million dollars.
The 50,000 square foot mansion, which has been on the market for seven years is reported to be the most expensive property ever sold in LA.
With the estate already reduced by a whopping 23 million, the deal is thought to have finally been struck by a mystery French billionaire and puts an end to a recent bidding war.
The estate became hot property in Los Angeles County after it had been on and off the market for year. The sale of the five acre trophy plot of land was completed in just 10 days in a cash deal which included priceless antique furnishings.
Sold by American socialite Suzanne Saperstein, formerly married to Texan billionaire David Saperstein. The couple split just three years after having the mansion custom built in 2002.
First listed on the property market for 125 million, the property boasts 12 bedrooms, 15 bathrooms, a ballroom, two kitchens, a sumptuous home cinema, nine car garage, pool and tennis courts.
Modelled on Louis XIV's Palace of Versailles, the Italian marble walls, French limestone walls and gold-embossed leather wall coverings is hidden behind gates at the end of a 200 yard driveway.
The Saperstein's divorce made the headlines as the most expensive in US history and this multi million pound property deal is the final chapter.
