Fixed fee Divorce

Getting divorced is never an easy time and here at Lee Chadwick, Oxford,  we understand how difficult and unsettling it can be.

The last thing you need is the addition of any further money worries. That is why we have a number of fixed fee divorce packages available so that you know at the outset what your legal costs will be and can budget accordingly.

To further assist with budgeting  for your expenses we can put together a payment plan for clients. For all divorce clients we can offer a will writing service for £100 + vat.

FIXED FEE OPTIONS

OPTION A – THE PETITIONER

This applies if you are the person requesting a divorce from your partner. It will cover you from the point at which you file for divorce through to the Decree Absolute. Please be aware that this does not include fees for matters regarding children, buying or selling the family home,  financial implications, court appearances or matters where your partner does not cooperate with proceedings.

Total Cost £985 inc. vat (inc. £385 for Court Fees)

OPTION B – THE RESPONDENT

This applies if your partner is requesting the divorce. As in Option A, it will cover you up to the Decree Absolute and again will not include child contact issues, family finances, property matters, court appearances or additional work in the event you wish to defend the petition.

Total Cost £180 inc. vat

OPTION C – ANCILLARY RELIEF

We can help negotiate a financial settlement with your partner and the preparation of the Consent Order which will be legally binding. This includes the voluntary disclosure exchange. Again child matters, property and court costs are not included.

Total Cost £1500 inc vat (including £45 Court Fees)

Our fixed fee packages are ideally aimed at individuals who are facing an amicable divorce. We understand that this is not always the case and often complications can arise. In this event we reserve the right to charge additional fees but this will be discussed with clients beforehand so that they will be clear on any additional costs.
