A bankrupt tycoon involved in one of Britain's biggest divorce battles is accused of hiring a photographer to spy on his wife.
A court heard how he offered £2,000 for a paparazzi photographer to follow his estranged wife.
Scot Young, 51, referred to her as "a greedy cow" after she alledgedly turned down an offer of £27 million to settle the divorce.
His estranged wife claims he is worth "a few billion" after apparently being penniless. Mrs Young has suggested she'll settle for £300 million plus legal costs.
Mr Gill, the photographer has said in a written statement to the court: "He said he would pay me £2,000 in cash, tax-free, if I would follow his wife on Friday taking a video and photos of whom she was with."
Giving evidence, Mr Gill reported he had seen Mr Young in London with Boris Berezovsky, the Russian businessman, Philip Green, the billionaire owner of Topshop, and Simon Cowell.
In court Mr Gill said both parties had offered him money to follow the other around with Mrs Young telling the photographer she would look after him once the settlement was made.
Despite her telling Mr Gill she had to buy from charity shops, ask for free food and sleep on the floor she has been seen at the most exclusive clubs.
