As the London property boom looks set to explode, proof of the soaring prices come as a terraced house looks set to make its owners £800,000 profit in just 3 years.

When Andrew and Laura Blake bought the house in South London just three years ago, it was in need of renovation and previously owned by an elderly woman.

Back then the property was worth £575,000 but following a hi-spec transformation, the couple have fully renovated their home and put it back on the market recently for an incredible £1.395million.

If the property achieves anywhere close to the asking price, this kind of figure will have earned the Blake's the equivalent of £660 per day.

From its' smart frontage, the luxury Southfield pad looks like most other dwellings of its type but scratch the surface and what you see would fit well in a celebrity lifestyle magazine.

Decorated throughout in ivory, the refurbishment and stylish interior have been carried out courtesy of Mr Blake who works for a project management company and his wife Laura, a former school teacher looking for a project herself.

As the Blake's plan to move on and buy another run-down property, the National Office of Statistics admitted that property prices in London are rising by almost 19 percent every year.
