Couple Divorce After Dream Holiday

Gareth Cartwright, 41, ran off with Sophie Cartledge, 19, after meeting her in a Red Sea resort with his wife Lindsey.

Lindsey Cartwright had booked a 10 day luxury holiday at an Egyptian resort with her husband, after saving for a whole year.

Looking back at holiday pictures makes Lindsey upset as, before their tans had faded, Gareth had moved in with 19 year old Sophie.

Lindsey said, "We were excited before we went and we couldn't wait to spend time together."

The couple jetted off to Egypt in October 2012 and the day they arrived, the pair made friends with Sophie and her male pal.

Nearing the end of their holiday, Lindsey noticed Gareth had been secretly texting and phoning Sophie behind her back. When she confronted her partner of 12 years, he denied the whole thing, and told Lindsey she was being paranoid.

The couple returned home as planned and subsequently decided to end their relationship. Gareth, made no comment about the situation and he and Sophie, now 21, claim they didn't begin their affair until they had split up. The couple are still together.
