Planning Application Submitted for Apartment Complex in Salford

Plans to build a 32-storey apartment complex next to the River Irwell in Salford have been submitted as part of the Greengate regeneration scheme.

Select Property Group, in collaboration with Ask Real Estate, has submitted a planning application for the construction of a residential apartment complex housing 694 properties. Manchester residents will be able to rent studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom apartments across 32 storeys, with access to a private entertainment space on the ground floor.

Mark Stott, chief executive of Select Property Group, said:

"With such a prominent location within this important regeneration initiative, Affinity Living residents will undoubtedly benefit from the vibrancy of this area as it continues to develop and evolve.

"Similarly we want our residents to inject diversity and personality into the area and so have designed the building to actively encourage interaction with the local community."

If planning permission is granted, work is anticipated to start in July this year, with a view to completing the project in December 2019.
