The latest news from the Nationwide Building Society is that there are positive signs of recovery for the property market. May saw house prices begin to rise by 0.4%. It is believed that this is due, in some part, to  an increased availability of better deals on mortgages and increased lending.

The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) has reported that May has seen an increase in people viewing property and in turn a rise in property purchases.
