Finally divorced after 18 affairs

When Adele Theron's husband admitted to having had 18 affairs during their five year marriage, she decided enough was enough and filed for a divorce.

But despite husband Bruce handing her a list of shame, cataloguing all his indiscretions, she has still forgiven him and some of the close friends he cheated on her with.

Adele, 36 a smart businesswoman, admitted that she had suspicions throughout their marriage and from the very beginning. Her cheating musician husband had a one night stand before they tied the knot and Adele foolishly thought that marriage would change things.

Saying she was swept off her feet by Bruce who she met at a music gig where her future spouse played lead guitar. In an interview with the Daily Mail, Adele says, "He was so exciting – something between us just clicked".

Looked on as the 'odd couple' Adele knew people including her family disapproved of their relationship.  The high achiever who had set up her own e-commerce business by the time she was 23 fell hook line and sinker in love.

"He played lead guitar and had this rock star vibe" says Adele.  "He was completely different to any man I had ever dated before.  We got talking and ended up chatting until dawn".

Following Bruce's admissions of a night stand early on in their relationship, Adele forgave him and they married at a London Register Office in 2004.

The relationship became strained as the years passed with both husband and wife spending a lot of time abroad with their work with Adele largely supporting the pair financially.

There is a happy ending however, it's not a case of once bitten as Adele is due to tie the knot again later this year.
