British groom killed in jetski accident, days after dream wedding

Jeremy Hope, 39 died after suffering head and chest injuries from crashing into a jetski his wedding guest was driving.

The groom passed away two days after his dream wedding with bride Sarah, 30. He was riding the jet- ski with friend Pete Hudson when the pair collided in the sea off Kamari beach Santorini.

After the accident, Jeremy carried on sunbathing with Sarah on the beach but fell poorly after.

He was immediately rushed to the hospital in a helicopter but he died in the air ambulance when his head and chest injuries proved too fatal.

Mr Hudson, the friend who collided with Mr Hope in the water may be charged with negligent homicide and was arrested at Athens airport as he waited to change planes whilst on his way to visit a friend.

Jeremy's dad had own flown back from the wedding on Wednesday and is devasted about the accident which killed his son.

Sarah who lived with Jeremy in London was too upset to comment about his death.

Mr Hudson is due to appear in court today to testify his actions about the incident.
