An Altrincham restaurant is due to close at the end of the month after owners decide it doesn't fit with their future plans.
Casual Dining Group, which is owned by private equity firm Apollo, will be closing its' Hale restaurant, La Vina, after 30th October after finding it no longer fits with their future plans. La Vina, a popular Spanish tapas bar on the Hale high street, has been a fixture there for over a decade and was joined by the likes of La Tasca, Cafe Rouge and Bella Italia.
A spokesperson for the Casual group said:
"From time to time, we review our portfolio of restaurants and after careful consideration, have identified this site as one which no longer fits in with our future plans for the brand.
"We are sorry for any upset caused by this decision and are mindful of the impact on our people. Thankfully, the majority of staff have been successfully relocated to our other restaurants in the area."
Of the 10 staff members working at La Vina, seven have been relocated to other restaurants within the Casual Dining Group portfolio, while three opted to leave the company.
