A luxury £9 million residential development has been planned to replace former cosmetic surgery practice, Transform Clinic, in Bowdon.
A planning application, outlining plans to demolish a section of Alexandra House, add a new extension and convert the rest of the space into twelve exclusive three-bedroom residences, has been submitted to Trafford Council.
Transform Clinic, who owned the 0.79-acre plot on the corner of Green Walk and The Firs in Bowdon, have sold the property to Hardy Mill Properties and Real Estate Investment Partnerships.
Stephen Slater, a developer at Real Estate Investments, said:
"We are delighted to have the opportunity to return the building back to its former glory and to add value to what is already a very exclusive residential avenue. As we embark on a series of developments in the local area, we are keen to display our high quality properties with meticulous attention to detail."
Historically a large Victorian villa dating back to the 1860s, architects Ollier Smurthwaite are in the process of designing twelve residential dwellings which will retain as many of the period features as possible while providing residents with a "property suitable for 21st century living".
The new development will include six one-level three-bedroom apartments, two three-bedroom triplex apartments, two three-bedroom mews houses, one three-bedroom coach house and one three-bedroom penthouse.
